It houses a great collection of monkeys, with many different species on display within the park. Where this zoo differs from others on Tenerife, and worldwide, is the fact that you can actually walk through the monkeys cages and feed them and all the animals you see in this zoo, and you will quickly see that each animal has its own favourite food. You honestly haven't lived until you've had a Ring Tailed Lemur eating snacks from the palm of your hand. Sometimes some of the species get a lot bolder and will come and sit on your shoulder - especially the smaller monkeys, they have no qualms about jumping onto you and using their hands to reach into the bags of food.
